The following is a list of rules to be observed while chatting on SolidIRC. If you fail to follow any of these policies then you can be denied access to SolidIRC and any other server connected to solidirc.com. SolidIRC has a right to change any of the policies at any time and reserves the right to terminate ANY hostname from accessing its network. When you enter a channel in SolidIRC, it constitutes your acceptance of the terms and conditions listed below. If you do not agree to abide by our Code of Conduct, please do not enter SolidIRC channels.
NOTICE: The terms "Denial of Service" or "nuke" describe a type of attack against computers connected to the Internet, causing the computer to disconnect or crash. These attacks are illegal according to German Law. Often the victims are people on Internet Relay Chat (IRC), but nuking is not part of IRC, so you can't get back at these people through IRC, nor can IRCops sanction them.

No attacks of any kind, trojan, nuke, icmp, ect. (See NOTICE above for more details) 8. No advertising illegal services or hardware or any kind. No spamming. 9. No advertising other chat networks.
Disruptive Behaviour SolidIRC does not tolerate disruptive behaviour. Users are to respect one another online. No users shall harass or stalk any other user. Any user believed to be disrupting the network will be banned from the SolidIRC Network. Please report disruptive users to

. NO User shall cause harm to SolidIRC Network servers or any user's terminal. No using other people's registered nicknames (this includes IRC operator/admin nicknames).
Harassment SolidIRC will not tolerate any type of harassment to its users, staff, or channels. If you are found harassing users, staff, or channels, you will be banned from the network. Logs of harassment may be sent to your ISP (Internet Provider) and or local and state authorities if harassment is severe. Flooding Flooding of any kind is strictly forbidden! That behaviour WILL NOT be tolerated; anyone doing so will be REMOVED with no explanations. Channel Rules SolidIRC Network allows many types of rooms to be created. If a channel seems too vulgar or disruptive in nature, the admins of SolidIRC have the right to remove the channel and keep it from being used. Certain rooms have rules and regulations which must be followed and those are at the discretion of the room owner. Users have the right to express themselves in any way and language they want. Users must remember to follow the room owner's regulations. Channels of sexual nature are allowed. We ask that they place in the room topic or on join message that the room contains adult language. any channels that promote illegal activity are not allowed. Channels that are racist in nature are not allowed. Any room that doesn't abide by these rules be closed and forbidden until further notice. We encourage channel users not to give personal information or passwords to anyone in the channels. Users should be aware that when they disclose personal identifying information such as their actual name, member name, e-mail address, etc. in a channel, the information may be collected and used by others to send that person unsolicited email from other parties. Privacy Each user can log as well private messages as channel messages he gets or sends. Log files of private messages can only be done by the users who are in query. By using SolidIRC and its services, any user agrees to obey this possibility, that logs may be created by any other user.
